Mark Woomer – Our first selected actor

Mark is an experienced actor, in Theater, Films and Music videos. He is dedicated and truly incorporates the characters he needs to represent. 

During the production of a short film, Secrets, the entire crew started to cry with so much emotion he put into his character. 

Above all, he is a team worker, always in a good mood, making everyone around laugh, but also taking his work is a very serious manner. Mark is an actor any production is proud to have. 

About his role:  Mike Smith

Mike struggles in every relationship.  As a husband. As a father. His addiction to alcohol turns him into an aggressive man, with no limits, including his sexual desires. To make things even worth, he is also addicted to gambling, and his financial situation starts to deteriorate quickly. 

Will he be able to make a turn in life in time to save his marriage, raise his daughter, and save his own life? 

Previous Works 

“The Centurian” monologue.
Lead singer in local high school bands, 60s and 70s classic rock; Grand Funk Railroad, Badfinger, Beatles, 10 Years After, Chicago, Free, etc..
Played The Senator in the Carlow College production of “On the 20th Century”, Pittsburgh, PA.
Played various characters as part of the US Steel Singers group for the corporate competitions during the Three Rivers Arts Festival in Pittsburgh, PA. First year the group won first place for performing a montage of songs from “Les Miserables”. The following year the group came in 2nd place, but, received the award for Best Corporate performance for a montage of songs from “Chess”.
Performed with the US Steel Singers for the annual US Steel Christmas party at the Duquesne Club, Pittsburgh, PA.
Played Simeon in the Kingsport Theatre Guild production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, April 2018. This show set an all time attendance record.

Played the Drunk Dad in the 353 Studios production of the“Country Road” music video, by Ribas Rocks, April 2018.

Played Sgt. Paprika in the Kingsport Theatre Guild production of “The Beatles Slept Here”, January 2019. This show won best production at the Kingsport Theatre Guild small performing venue.

Played Russel Tinsworthy, CEO, in the Kingsport Theatre Guild production of “9 to 5: The Musical”, August 2019

Played Doc, Owner, Doc’s Drug Store and Sandwich Shop in the Kingsport Theatre Guild production of “West Side Story”, October 2019. This show set an all-time attendance record.
